Today I accidentally deleted the code I worked on all day Thursday.  Shift-Delete has burned me in the past and I vow now not to use it anymore.  Regardless I had to find something to try and recover that file.  I found a few apps that have looked good but they wanted $50.00 or more for it and I wasn’t willing to pay that for in all likelihood (hopefully) a one time deal.  I came across PC Inspector File Recovery.  It is Freeware and a small download.

It found the file I deleted and a ton of other stuff.  Of course the other stuff I didn’t need was in tact and the file I needed was ruined.  Odds are me installing this tool messed up that file.  So a good tip may be to go download this tool now and have it ready if you ever need it.
