New Puppy Naming

Since we aren’t allowed to save a dog, we have purchased one.  We pick up the little guy July 24.  We have decided to let my 28-month-old daughter, Cailyn, help with the name.  Here are how the “negotiations” went.

Me: What do you want to name the new puppy?
Cailyn: Jonah
Me: How about Steve?
Cailyn: How about Jonah? (clever)
Me: How about Buzz?
Cailyn: How about Jonah?
Me: How about Bullseye?
Cailyn: How about Jonah?
Me: How about Jonah? (trying a little trickery)
Cailyn: That’s his name.

So that is his name .... for now.

How about Bob!
