Alan: I was busy
Brian: Thats whats nice about mlbfeed.com, when you are short on time you can get all the news at a glance.
Alan: What if i want football news?
Brian: You can this fall as we kick off nflfeed.com.
Then Alan started bitching about his job.

I have launched a new site called mlbfeed.com. It is currently in beta as I continue to get some sections built out. I built the site for a few reasons, the main reason being I was tired of ESPN.com crashing my browsers on a daily basis with all their bloat.
I am not sure how it will evolve but I wanted to take on a new project and this one seemed pretty good. Right now news is posted on a very irregular basis as I work things out.

I am mostly posting this as a reminder to myself: Creating a User Defined Function in SQL for Comma-Delimited Searches.
This comes in very handy when dealing with Stored Procs and comma-delimited lists.

FX has a new series on called 30 Days. In the first episode Morgan Spurlock (from Super Size Me) and his girlfriend move to Columbus, Ohio to try and live on minimum wage for 30 days. Each week they will focus on the life of someone else for 30 days. Check it out if you get a chance.
Funny thing in episode one. Morgan is looking for something free to do with his niece and nephew so he goes the library and googles, “free things to do in Columbus Ohio”. The results bring back this page: http://www.ohiotraveler.com/things_to_do.htm --- some interesting things, like visit a Bank: Call up your local bank and ask for a tour. Winter Advisory: If you wear a ski-mask, take it off before entering the bank. Kids love the big vaults.
