Free Mac Mini Conga Line

I’m sure by now everyone has seen the free i-pod offers, now there is a free Mac Mini offer.  Get 10 friends to sign up, complete one offer and the Mac Mini is sent to you.  Like most I thought these guys were a scam but there seems to be proof they are not: Making Free IPods Pay Off .

The easiest way it seems to get your 10 is to sign up for a Conga Line.  There is a central list and the more people who join the quicker the goals are reached.  I am going to give it a shot.  Couple points: 1. Go create a new email for this, you will be spammed.  2. When you register say no to all the offers that come up first, they are not required.  3.  Look for a simple offer you can cancel without being charged.  I signed up for a 14 day trial of Real Rhapsody, after 7 days you get credit then you can cancel if you want.

Dean Wormer Dies at 72

Actor John Vernon, who played Dean Wormer in the classic “Animal House,” died this past Tuesday.  Some of Dean Wormers classic lines:

Cut the horseshit, son. I’ve got their disciplinary files right here. Who dropped a whole truckload of fizzies into the swim meet? Who delivered the medical school cadavers to the alumni dinner? Every Halloween, the trees are filled with underwear. Every spring, the toilets explode.

Fat, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life, son.

As of now they’re on Double SECRET Probation!

I first saw this clip a few years ago and could not get enough of it.  The other day I went looking for it and happily found it.

You will need to play it 5 times or more to really get the full value of it.  From whatever he says when he his knocked over, to his friend looking in the window pointing at the broken glass ... even the sound of the gun bouncing around the floor makes me laugh.  If you have time watch it frame by frame ... good stuff.
