Fanta Shokata

Here is some pretty clever viral marketing from Fanta and Coca-Cola.  You can add your own subtitles to their movies.  So far this has wasted a good 45 minutes of my morning.  Just visit the site and select make your own movie.

Enjoy.

Send Your Love Video

I just saw the new Sting video for the song “Send Your Love”.  First, the song is great but I guess I may be biased as I am a HUGE fan of Sting - he basically can do no wrong in my book.  As for the video, it is what I come to expect from him. Nothing too crazy, just Sting being cool.

I cannot wait for the album, the DVD and the tour.  3 years is a long time to wait for new music and tour dates.

You can see the video over at VH1.  From VH1, “VH1.com users can hear the entire new album one week before anyone else. We’re exclusively streaming the disc beginning September 22. “

New Video

While channel surfing tonight I stopped on one of the MTV stations.  What caught my eye was a dancing marionette.  The video was for DJ Tiga’s rework of Nelly’s “It’s Getting Hot In Here”.  This is one of the best music videos I have seen in a long time.

"Sacred Love”, Sting’s 10th studio album will be available in the U.S. on September 30th.  It will be released a couple of weeks earlier internationally.  A DVD companion, “Inside the Songs of Sacred Love”, features live performances of the new songs.  It was recorded live at the Mayan Theatre in Los Angeles earlier this summer. The DVD hits stores internationally October 6 and in the U.S. October 7.

This first single to be released is Send Your Love

Google News Alerts

Google has released a very cool new tool called News Alerts.  Basically you enter your email address and the news topic you want to be kept up to date on.  Google will then send you the updates on this topic.  I had thought about this idea when their news service originally came out as a replacement to news clipping services.  I guess they thought of it too.

To keep an eye on other cool google projects visit the Google Labs.  Try the voice search, it will blow your mind.
